The following is a collection of teen reading resources that are available. The list will be added to over time.
Quicksand Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation’s teen blog. It offers news, reviews and stuff of interest to teens, particularly in the local areas of Casey and Cardinia. It also has links to lots of booklists and online reading resources suitable for Youth Services staff in a library context.
Inside a dog
This website is written specially for teenagers and features book reviews, news, sneak previews of upcoming books, a writer-in-residence blog, the chance to win stuff, a discussion forum and audio. There is also a section for teachers (or librarians) that includes great suggestions for using the inside a dog website in the classroom or with students. Topics include creating book clubs and encouraging students to chat online with authors and post book reviews.

They post news and opinion, and contribute to conversations on a wide range of topics to keep literacy professionals up to date with the latest information, current thinking and issues in youth literature.

This blog is all about getting boys to read more. It showcases books that boys like to read, features interviews with writers and offers the chance to win prizes. It’s based on an award-winning reading program developed by the Centre for Youth Literature (CYL).
SpineOut is a new and exciting online magazine for Young Adults, brought to you by the Good Reading team. It’s a special place for Young Adults (YA’s) to express their ideas and thoughts, and to share their creativity in words, art, film or music.
GayYA.org is a forum, blog, and fansite dedicated to everything gay in YA. The blog promotes LGBTQ characters in YA literature by providing a great reading list and links to online resources.
